Kasane Pendant Light

Kasane Pendant Light takes a single material — natural beige textile — and folds it into a shade that has depth and movement. The layers rest one above the other in a gently undulating form, each catching the light from the E27 bulb differently as the eye moves around it. The overall silhouette is round and calm; the detail is in the layering that gives it life.

At the top of the shade, where the textile meets the cable, a small wood detail introduces a second material into the composition. It is not decorative in the conventional sense — it is a considered contrast: the warmth of grain against the softness of woven fabric, the firmness of natural wood against the yielding weight of textile. The kind of detail that the eye finds and returns to.

At 45 cm across and 27.5 cm deep, Kasane works beautifully above a small dining table or as a focused accent in a living room. The 58 cm version — deeper at 35 cm — fills more of the ceiling plane and suits a larger table or a space that calls for more presence. The 70 cm version brings the fullest expression of Kasane’s layered form, making it especially well suited to larger dining areas, open-plan interiors, or rooms with higher ceilings. All three share the same calm silhouette, layered textile construction, and soft beige tone; the choice is simply one of scale.

The E27 bulb included at purchase is replaceable with any compatible bulb — including dimmable LED. With a compatible dimmer switch, Kasane moves between full brightness above a busy dinner table and a low, warm glow at the end of the evening. The textile shade filters that warmth softly outward, so the dimmed light feels intentional rather than merely reduced.
